In the end of the page an interesting MEDICAL RESEARCH ON KAMBO, even if the science is still not able to talk about the awesome capacity of the Kambpo to remove the "Panema", word of the Brazilian indios meaning that layer of heaviness and darkness that may cover the aura, causing negativity, depression, bad luck, anger, and magnet for all types of blocks, weakness and illnesses.
Before meeting Kambo I suffered from various physical problems, mainly due to malaria, which I contracted in Omkareshwar, India, in 1986, and again more recently in Africa. When malaria is not in the acute phase it hides in the liver, and with every cooling, stressful situation, even a particularly strong cane, it can cause disabling attacks of malarial-type fever, i.e. with strong tremors almost convulsions. Every winter I got the flu two or three times with the need to take antibiotics that hurt me very much. I was suffering from the cold in an exaggerated way, like acute suffering. All of this ended when I started to treat myself deeply with the Kambo. I haven't had the flu for years. I am so very grateful to this little frog, great healing spirit! She lives in the trees of the Amazon jungle from which she voluntarily descends when called to collect her secretion, the sacred medicine, with love for her. I did it personally in Peru led by Fr Lucho Jimenez, healer guardian of the Matsés ancestral tradition, a tribe that connected with our civilization only in 1969, and who was the last of my Kambo masters.
The secretion of the frog is applied over small burns of the superficial horny part of the skin allowing us to access the real epidermis, where its active substances interact with our lymphatic system triggering the defenses of our body: the whole immune system is activated by a single blow, while the spirit of the frog scans our body looking for problems and heals them by bringing them to the bile and then to the digestive system from where we will expel them, in a process of malaise that lasts just twenty minutes or so. Small sacrifice necessary to cure us of what caused or could even cause future diseases with unpredictable consequences. Therefore in Brazil it is called: "vacina do sapo", and healthy and strong people like indigenous hunters use it, since among its effects stand out the awakening of the senses, mental clarity and physical alertness, the generalized increase in levels of psychophysical energy freeing us from the "panema", that is, that hood of negativity, stress, depression, anger and even "evil eye" and misfortune that sometimes envelops us in the aura. Kambo is given from the age of two, especially in case of illness of children who thus grow strong and healthy even in extreme situations, it is the real natural jungle vaccine. It is of great help in freeing us from addictions of all kinds. The sacred medicine of Kambo is also effective in expelling parasitic entities from our living space, bringing us back to light, well-being, love for ourselves and the joy of living.
Kambo medicine does not contain alkaloids but bio-peptides, or if you do a blood test the day after the treatment you will not find foreign substances, rather everything is improved; for more scientific information I shared an excellent medical research at the bottom of this web page:
With just one application of Kambo you already get a very good effect and I recommend it to everyone; on the other hand, it is certain that repeated treatments go deeper and are more complete; I actually do it more or less once a month, or when I feel the need for it for any reason. A common practice is to do it three times in a row, with a maximum interval of one moon (28 days) between one application and the next for it to be considered a single treatment cycle; in my experience the closer the applications are, the better the result: perfect is to do it three times during three or four days. In any case, I noticed a very profound effect and a real change even in the emotional sphere and the appearance of the person, such as the brightness of the skin and of the gaze even in those who had arrived wrapped in darkness, rigidity and heaviness, already with two applications in two days in a row.
Kambo is an adaptogen, or according to Wikipedia: "By definition an adaptogen must not cause side effects, must have a modulating effect, cannot cause addiction and must transfer its survival skills", I might add that it gets along well with most medicines, addictions and specific situations; there are very few contraindications, in fact I administer it very carefully to almost everyone ... unless they have a defibrillator or other devices installed in the body; or with extreme blood pressure, which can often be regulated with prophylaxis; or other special cases such as a history of heart attack, severe cardiac arrhythmias, Addison disease, etc… it is the person's responsibility to communicate to the therapist if he has a chronic or serious pathological condition or if he is taking medicines so that he can decide if and how to proceed. For women in the menstrual period with heavy periods I normally recommend waiting for it to pass if possible, but in any case the worst that can happen due to the vasodilating effect of Kambo is an increase in flow for 24/36 hours, which can also be beneficial in some cases.

An Italian scientist, Vittorio Erspamer, of the University of Rome was the first to analyze Kambo in the lab. Vittorio Erspamer was twice nominated for a nobel prize and was also responsible for first discovering the well known neurotransmitter Serotonin. Erspamer concluded that Kambo contains a ‘fantastic chemical cocktail with potential medical applications, unequalled by any other amphibian’. His findings brought great attention to the area of peptides which have since become very important to the medical field.
Vittorio Erspamer was an Italian pharmacologist and chemist, known for the identification, synthesis and pharmacological studies of more than sixty new chemical compounds, most notably serotonin and octopamine. (Wikipedia) The research activities of Erspamer spanned more than 60 years and resulted in the isolation, identification, synthesis and pharmacological study of more than sixty new chemical compounds. Among these compounds were polypeptides and biogenic amines, and also some alkaloids. Most of these compounds were isolated from animals, predominantly amphibians.
In the late fifties, his research shifted to peptides. In the laboratories of the Institute of Medical Pharmacology, University of Rome, he isolated from amphibians and mollusks more than fifty new bioactive peptides. These became the subjects of numerous studies in other laboratories in Europe and North America. In 1979, he focused on opioid peptides specific to Phyllomedusa tree frog from Central and South America. These were used by the native Indians in initiation rites, to increase their prowess as “hunters” and make them feel “invincible”. They applied secretions from the skin of these frogs that resulted in analgesic effects.
The peptides discovered by Erspamer in Kambo trigger a variety of beneficial chemical reactions in the human body. Kambo has the ability, unlike many other natural and pharmaceutical substances, to cross the blood-brain barrier, enabling it to reach deep into the body and bring support to otherwise difficult to treat areas. Human cells open up to the beneficial properties of Kambo unlike many substances that are filtered and eliminated by the body’s highly intelligent defense system. Thus far, researchers have discovered nine peptides, some of which are bio-active – meaning that they perform specific functions in the body. These peptides perform hormone-like tasks while others provide support to vital cellular processes. Some of these peptides have a potent effect on the gastrointestinal muscles, gastric and pancreatic secretions, blood circulation, and on the stimulation of the adrenal cortex and pituitary gland. Many peptides have since been isolated from the Kambo secretion and have been synthesized. As a testament to their medicinal properties, there are over 70 Kambo patents lodged, mainly in the USA.
Kambo also contains certain neuropeptides that are small, protein-like molecules used by the neurons to communicate with each other. These neuronal signaling molecules are involved in a wide range of brain functions including:
analgesia, reward, food intake, metabolism, reproduction, social behaviors, learning, memory.
Ongoing research on peptides, Kambo’s main components, continues to evolve and find medical applications in the world of medicine and pharmacology. The major peptides identified in the Kambo secretion include:
Phyllomedusin– strongly affects intestines, bowels and contributes to deep purging of toxins.
Phyllokinin and Phyllomedusin – both potent vessel dilators, increasing the permeability of the blood-brain barrier.
Caerulein and Sauvagine – cause a fall in blood pressure accompanied by tachycardia, stimulating the adrenal cortex and the pituitary gland and contributing to heightened sensory perception and increased stamina. These peptides have a strong analgesic effect, enhance endurance, increase physical strength, and in general, enhance the capacity to manage physical pain and stress. They possess medical uses as digestive aids, and have demonstrated analgesic effects for those with renal colic, pain due to peripheral vascular insufficiency and cancer.
Dermorphin and Deltorphin are potent opioid peptides 4000 times stronger than morphine and 40 times stronger than endogenic b-endorphines.
Adenoregulin, discovered in the 1990’s by John Daly’s team at the National Institute of Health in the USA. The dermaseptins group, including Adenoregulin, are part of a family of broad spectrum antimicrobial peptides involved in the defense of the naked skin of frogs against microbial invasion. These are the first vertebrate peptides to show lethal effects against the filamentous fungi responsible for severe opportunistic infections accompanying immunodeficiency syndrome and the use of immunosuppressive agents. Adenoregulin works in the human body through the adenosine receptors, a fundamental component in all human fuel cells. These receptors offer a target for treating depression, stroke seizures and cognitive loss ailments such as Alzheimer’s disease. Scientific research on the various peptides of Kambo are opening up new perspectives on how the human brain works. See article: http://journal.frontiersin.org/article/10.3389/fphar.2014.00105/full.
The bioactive peptides and neuropeptides present in Kambo cover a wide range of potential medical uses including:
depression, migraines, blood circulation problems, vascular insufficiency, organ diseases, skin and eyes issues, fertility problems, AIDS, hepatitis, cancer. brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s
Other interesting properties include Kambo’s anti-inflammatory effects and its capacity to destroy various types of microbes and viruses. Recent studies have shown that Kambo contains multiple antimicrobial peptides effective against drug-resistant strains of bacteria, fungi, protozoa, parasites and virus. This is exciting news for the development of new and more efficient therapies able to treat antibiotic-resistant strains of infectious diseases.
Several years of research conducted at the University of Paris have shown the peptide Dermaseptin B2 to be very effective at killing certain types of cancer cells. Research at Queens University in Belfast recently won a prestigious award for their ground breaking work with cancer and Kambo.
